Class Review[edit]

The amount of information you have added to this article is good, considering that it is a fairly obscure topic, and the references you added are important because it didn’t seem to have any before. I like the pictures, but one of them makes me curious. The caption under the picture says “Herman of Carinthia, translator of Planisphaerium, with an astrolabe” which interested me because Herman of Carinthia is only briefly mentioned in the article. It seems to me that a section on him, not a whole autobiography, but maybe a paragraph or so about his involvement with astronomy and translation would be relevant to the article.Leav5419 (talk) 05:41, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Flat Earth?[edit]

This section claiming that the notion of a flat earth was stimulated by the text of Ptolemy's Planisphaerium is not supported by numerous medieval astronomical sources which all assume a spherical earth. If no-one objects within a few days, I will remove this section. AstroLynx (talk) 12:33, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
