Linka brought down the USSR?[edit]

I am deleting this claim as it's pretty clearly vandalism.206.205.22.18 (talk) 15:23, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edits[edit]

I tried to edit for flow and flesh out the character histories: Kwame's looked especially anaemic and I tried to standardize the information and layout as much as possible. I also cut down the discussion of Linka and Wheeler's romantic tension, as I thought Linka's character was being defined too much by Wheeler's infatuation with her. I also added some commentary on the Planeteer's race and religion, although I admit I'm ambivalent as to its relevance and appropraiteness. What does everybody else think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Acolytexiv (talkcontribs) 03:58, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ever present reality[edit]

Television is an ever present reality much as boks and movies are. Therefore it should be written in the present tense. example: "Linka was the Planeteer with the power of "Wind"." should be "Linka is the Planeteer with the power of "Wind"." This mistake is made constantly in this article

Russia? ...or Ukraine?[edit]

Waitaminute.... didn't Linka once mention in the show that she was from the Ukraine? -- EmiOfBrie 12:09, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wheeler's hobbies[edit]

I was reading about Wheeler when I noticed the writer said (rough quote): "Later, when Hanna Barbera took over, this was changed to basketball which made more sense than surfing" Is this true? I initially removed it because it was grammatically horrendous, but I also wondered if it was true. I replaced the above quote with "Later, Wheeler took up basketball, which...." --Vyxx 02:46, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why does the Ma-Ti section say this actor committed suicide, I can't confirm this at all. -Unsigned

Trish[edit]

The Wheeler section mentions a character named Trish. Does anyone know which episode she appears in? Atherva 01:50, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gi's ring[edit]

I took the liberty of adding the story of how Gi came to possess her power ring. That part of the article has been missing some time. --User:acolytexiv 5:19pm, 7 Sept 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Acolytexiv (talkcontribs) 21:13, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gi's ethnicity[edit]

Gi is not purely Chinese. She is of Southeast Asian descent. If you watch the very first episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w_TE3yuGqw) you can see that the area focused on is Thailand. The building structures behind her when she receives her ring are also Southeast Asian, particularly Thai/Cambodian in structure. I am half Thai and Gi is a popular Thai nickname. There is also a particular episode where the Planeteers go to Thailand due to deforestation occurring in the area, and a very good friend of Gi's is Thai. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.62.128.192 (talk) 21:26, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ma-ti.gif[edit]

Image:Ma-ti.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 06:45, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
