Fair use rationale for Image:Plan Logo.gif[edit]

Image:Plan Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:48, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About Schmidt[edit]

The main character in the movie "About Schmidt" has a child sponsorship at "plan international". It is a central theme of the movie. Here a link: http://www.plan.org.au/mediacentre/features/844 Should this be mentioned in the article? The page about the movie does not mention this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/About_Schmidt —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jemocri (talkcontribs) 21:57, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charitable Status in Canada[edit]

From the Revenue Canada website:

Expenses:

Charitable programs: $187,409,675.00 (81.05%)

Management and administration: $15,929,945.00 (6.89%)

Fundraising: $27,880,847.00 (12.06%)

This all looks VERY good.

Top Full Time Salaries:

$200,000 to $249,999 5 positions

$250,000 to $299,999 2 positions

$300,000 to $349,999 1 position

$350,000 and over 2 positions

What?!! Who is making OVER $350,000 running a charity in Canada? That's totally obscene. Lehasa (talk) 22:08, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And 10 are making at least $200,000. $200,000 in year equals 16,666 in month, quite damn much for a charitable organisation employer... And those ten get paid at least $1.5 million (counted with lower limit in each salary category) 193.210.196.238 (talk) 15:19, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
