There are claims that Pittsworth businessmen are persecuting local fruit bats, harassing them and attempting to drive them from the region (in violation of Australian law). Anybody have any press coverage of this? --Orange Mike | Talk 01:11, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Naming of Pittsworth[edit]

In 1886 the name changed to Pittsworth, a name which was suggested by Thomas Macdonald-Paterson, Post-Master General, in honour of his father-in-law, C.W.
