Quarrying[edit]

I put in some details of the ironstone quarrying some whle ago but my main source (Tonks) ends with the closure of the railway link to the Market Harborough and Northampton railway and the cessation of quarryng for the iron industry in 1965 and widespread landscaping.during the following year I shall add something in about that. Tonks mentions a further quarry for roadstone which either still continues or finished recently. However apart from the piec about the trees I can find no source to fill in these details.
