Untitled[edit]

I propose that this article be relocated to Hospital of Pity-Salpêtrière, to more accurately reflect the name of the facility. Please provide feedback by January 13, 2006. Folajimi 19:27, 9 January 2006 (UTC)(talk)[reply]

Have a look at requested moves. On what grounds are you suggesting the change, e.g. website, historical reference etc. JFW | T@lk 21:59, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The suggestion is based on what I could find out regarding the facility. A query for "Hopital de la Pitie" (quotes included) generated more than twenty thousand results. Without restricting the result to English, it easily doubles. From what I gather, this translates to "Hospital of Pity"; hence, the proposed move Folajimi 22:47, 9 January 2006 (UTC)(talk)[reply]

Who died where[edit]

Whether the Princess of Wales or King Tut picked this hospital to die in does not compare in moment with proper "encyclopedic" information about this huge and venerable institution. A listing of deaths at any hospital has no place in Wikipedia. I am removing the reference to Diane. Myron (talk) 12:49, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Really great article! Overall, I think the bits added to the Hospital's history are really good. Maybe to further enhance the article, you could incorporate some of the main themes of Paris Medicine that we discussed in class. I feel like that would help tie all of the history together instead of having brief, separate points. Faithkbrown (talk) 02:50, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
