Height of the hole[edit]

The article is in great error concerning the size of the natural rock arch in the island. The island itself is surveyed as 152 metres tall. http://www.stat.auckland.ac.nz/research/rodent-invasion/island/bay-of-islands/piercy-motukokako/ While I can not locate an exact survey of the arch opening, it can be measured on photographs of the island to be no more than 1/7th the height of the island, therefore about 20 metres, not 64 metres! This is consistent with the claims of the jet boat pilots that the arch is about 16 metres wide at the narrowest point, as the arch is similar in height and width. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.93.199.151 (talk) 08:58, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
