Content I removed today[edit]

I've removed the following sections: The first section is unlikely to apply to all countries, and there is little point in providing a list of links to all countries' passport requirements. The second section is basically speculation. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 06:29, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Worldwide passport photo requirements[edit]

Though the requirements for making passport photos vary around the world, they all[citation needed] adhere to a few basic requirements:

  1. Front-facing photo of the subject
  2. Clear focus of the subject and visibility of the eyes and both ears
  3. No-smiling. A new regulation for all countries implementing biometrics measures [citation needed]

Examples of specific requirements include:

Do it yourself passport photos alternatives[edit]

There are a number of solutions for people who would like to make their own passport or identification photos:

  1. Dedicated free software or professional photo id software
  2. Using software packages like Photoshop
  3. Online passport photo services, some of which allow you to create passport photos

suggestions[edit]

Should add "school id" and "green cards" and "military id" (probably more, but it slips my mind). If there is verbiage telling us what the US uses, then these should be added. But that part is a bit ambiguous. Suggest to also section out US separate from UK. Each have their own section. OK, bye.
