The preferred IUPAC name[edit]
Why is the preferred IUPAC name listed as "2-Oxo-3-(phosphonooxy)propanoic acid", as I interpret that name to be a less common way of writing the name.
I have replaced it to "2-Oxo-3-phosphonooxypropanoic acid" for now, but if anybody happens to read this, I would like to know why the other one was listed. Louister41 (talk) 01:29, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
