This page states that "Jones famously played trumpet on The Beatles single Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields Forever."

However http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_Lane states that it was David Mason (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mason_%28trumpet_player%29 ) who played the famous piccolo trumpet part in Penny Lane - other sources state the same.

Is the author here saying that Philip Jones played as well (e.g. in the orchestra)? - if so the distinction should be made clear
