The Tribune[edit]

I have altered this paragraph to correct a small error crediting Gibbs with founding the Tribune and going on to write his "first semi autobiography".

The Tribune was founded by my grandfather Franklin Thomasson MP, and as such "Street of Adventure" was its story. I have no knowledge of the three famous journalists quoted by the contributor, but it is known that the paper featured a distinguished staff. Tractorboy60 12:38, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Gibbs does appear in the novel; he is the narrator at the beginning who comments on the naivety of the central character Frank Luttrell. Franklin Thomasson is the proprietor of the paper, called "The Liberal",and his name is changed to Benjamin Harrison. Tractorboy60 10:37, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
