Why not to delete it ?[edit]

Good question. I was surprised to see a link, in a scientific topic, to "phenomena (philosophy)" and to find later that there was also a "phenomenon" article that contains as a subset a section on "phenomenon uses in philosophy". One of these articles or sections claims, I think, that the use in philosophy includes mind perceptions. IMHO there should be only one article without any qualifier within parentheses. And I don't know if there should be sections for "sub-definitions", i.e., individual sections for different uses except the colloquial one (something extraordinary). Feel like proposing a merge of this article and Phenomenon (philosophy) into Phenomenon? I think the scientific and philosophical versions are possibly slightly distinct, but not enough to warrant three articles. What do you think? Deamon138 (talk) 14:48, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I fully support to merge all into Phenomenon and I suggest that while the proposal for a merge is processed you draft a version of the merged article in a sandbox. You have proven that you can sort, compare, and do excellent synthesis of knowledg. And you are, indeed, very familiar with the current templates and procedures which I'm not familiar at all. Last time I tried to propose AfD of a nonsense artcle I got rejected twice for different technicalities. Pleae, go ahead with the merge proposal. Jclerman (talk) 20:46, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
