Yeah, there are sources that informally consider this guy "governor" and then give a gap of 200+ years before the, y'know, actual governors of the isles. Whatever this guy was called before assuming the lordship of the isles (presumably some variation of "warden"), it wasn't governor and it doesn't really matter that sources can be found that unhelpfully conflate whatever he was with the later title. — LlywelynII 21:47, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
