Age at Death[edit]

After initially finding this article without a birth date, I have placed his birth year as being circa 1622 or 1623, on the strength of his being stated aged 16 at entering Oxford University in January 1638/39. It makes him another contender for record as shortest-lived MP. Evelyn Caroline Bromley-Davenport, in her family history, The House of Lyme, agrees he was aged 17 at being elected to the Long Parliament. However I am prepared to be corrected if birth or baptism date could be established from published parish registers (perhaps in Cheshire or Lancashire).Cloptonson (talk) 19:24, 14 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
