Initial assessment[edit]

Clearly a stub on an important topic. River has high value ecological components and importance for navigability and history of the north bay. Anlace 23:54, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How long is the Petaluma River ??? --84.138.102.85 13:04, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Really a creek but an interesting one at that![edit]

At a time when money was available to dredge and maintain rivers, this creek was glorified to obtain funding. The history of movement of food items, including game from the rich lands of Sonoma County through this port to SF is of considerable importance to early SF Bay Area development. Both matters deserve attention... Norcalal (talk) 08:21, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Back[edit]

Hi, I'm writing an article about the Petaluma River on the Dutch Wikipedia based on this one. But I am doubting about how to translate the word 'back' (History), is it back like the backside or like back in time? If someone could help me, I would be very grateful. Thanks already.
