Proposed merger[edit]

Propose that this merged with and redirected to Pesticide which already has an extensive section on environmental effects. – ukexpat (talk) 17:17, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have proposed that the Environmental effects section of the Pesticide article to be split into an article titled Environmental effects of pesticides. -- Alan Liefting- (talk) - 09:54, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That would work too. – ukexpat (talk) 19:30, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With all of these splits, does it not seem that we're narrowing the scope/importance of the topic? Since the article is being diverted to a subsection of a subtopic of a topic, doesn't that reduce the amount that can be written about it; or would this article be resurrected/not redirected if their were more extensive information/documentation of the effects of pesticide drift on human/environmental health? Are there viewpoints that are underrepresented within the context of different categories of pesticide drift? ~~JACS888~~

Where are the citations under the "Public Concern" section? ~~JACS888~~

Article Revision Proposed Bibliography[edit]

For my project, I will be editing the Wikipedia article on pesticide drift. This article needs some major additions on the health implications of pesticide drift. I believe the article on pesticide drift needs to be more than descriptive. The relevancy of this issue is rooted in the health issues that it causes to those who are exposed to them. I also hope to report on any preventative or even measures to treat symptoms that are caused by these toxins.
