Alpine skiing[edit]

"but she failed to finish" - completed to avoid reptition of closely spelt wording
"finishing the first run in a time of 59 seconds, but failing to finish the second run." - end again to avoid reptition

Cross-country skiing[edit]

"and moving from Peru to Seattle, Washington" - sentence needs a period to complete it
"he finished with a time of 45 minutes and 53 seconds, finishing in 94th place out of 95 competitors." - placing 94th

Reference 2 should have its publication and access dates should be written as 13 February 2010 and 24 July 2011 in line with the rest of the citations
