needs to be updated for more modern understanding[edit]

From skimming this article it's a little unclear how PCS fits into modern (2018 is the time of my writing) cellular services. Does it represent a technology/way of thinking that is now obsolete (e.g. Sprint has dropped PCS from its name)? Or does it have present-day relevance? Yea. Is PCS a wrapper name for other technologies? Are TCPIP based networks PCS, or is this *before* everything ran over the internet? Have I never heard about it because it was only used for a very short time, because it was replaced before it could make its way out of the US? --2001:9E8:2B3A:FD00:7598:EF1D:2A9D:A111 (talk) 08:39, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

bad style[edit]

It is really bad to start an encylopedia article with citing a technical definition written by and designated for experts in the subject. --2001:9E8:2B3A:FD00:7598:EF1D:2A9D:A111 (talk) 08:39, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
