Removed Tyson Geib and Jessica Geib from 'notable people' appears to be spam. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.60.133.235 (talk) 03:18, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI - That picture is actually not from Perrysburg. That is a view down Conant St., the main street running through downtown Maumee; the City of Maumee is adjacent to Perrysburg. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.60.218.168 (talk) 22:04, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Planned by the federal government[edit]

Perrysburg is one of only two cities in the United States planned by the federal government ([[Washington, DC]] is the other).<ref name="HistPerry">{{cite web |url=http://www.ci.perrysburg.oh.us/HistoricPerrysburg/tabid/57/Default.aspx |title=Historic Perrysburg |accessdate=August 18 |accessyear=2009 |author= |last= |first= |authorlink= |coauthors= |date= |year= |month= |format= |work= |publisher=City of Perrysburg|pages= |language= |archiveurl= |archivedate=}}</ref>

I've removed this statement because the city website is quite wrong. All three "Greenbelt Communities" were federally designed and built: see Greenhills, Ohio, Greendale, Wisconsin, and Greenbelt, Maryland. Nyttend (talk) 14:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is Huron?[edit]

The article states that "Early settlers in the area fled to Huron during the War of 1812." What is Huron? Is it the lake between Michigan and Canada, or is it something else? Jnmwiki (talk) 19:55, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
