Hugh Laurie / Frank Langella[edit]

I read that Hugh Laurie was originally going to play Perry White in the movie Superman Returns, but they had to go with Frank Langella when Laurie had scheduling conflicts. Wouldn't Laurie have been a bit young yet for the role? Langella is 66 years old, Laurie is 47. The image I always had of Perry White from the movies and tv series was that Perry White was a man who was at the least in his 50s.

Understand, that a convoluted storyline, indicates a lack of intelligence and originality. Perry White changes in every manner and form as originality and intellect succumb to the here and now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.188.132 (talk) 18:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
