Two Problems[edit]

This page (https://adisinsight.springer.com/drugs/800016741) has made me think of two possible issues with this article.

First: I've noticed that most articles for medicinal drugs use the generic name rather than the brand name(ex: the article for the drug "Lexapro" is titled Escitalopram). The linked page seems to give Oxycyte the generic name Perfluorocarbon Oxygen Carrier, and some other articles I've seen about Oxycyte put a ® symbol next to the name. This makes me wonder if Oxycyte is the appropriate title for this article.

Second: The page I linked lists the health issues that Oxycyte has been investigated as a treatment for, either currently or in the past. Research for this drug has been discontinued for nine different health issues, and the only remaining one, stroke, has not seen any updates since 2019. Does anyone know what the current status of this drug is, and if it's still being considered for the market?
