Boundary Dispute[edit]

There are currently a lot of articles about the Penn-Calvert border dispute, but my issue with them is this: none of them gives a good overview of the entire legal conflict, just pieces of it. An article about the Twelve Mile Circle isn't going to get into that much about the Mason-Dixon line, and vice versa, and neither article will get into much detail about the back-and-forth of the legal dispute (nor should they, if they're only mentioning the dispute as background to explain the lines and surveying). So I've created a new article specifically to focus on the dispute itself, and I'm going to try to streamline the background information in the articles on the Transpeninsular Line, the Wedge, the Mason-Dixon line, the Twelve-Mile Circle, and Cresap's War. I think this approach is a bit more organized and will make the overall history easier to understand -- but if someone disagrees, feel free to let me know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ethelred unraed (talkcontribs) 21:49, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
