Chödrön is notable, but is this list?[edit]

Chödrön is notable, hence Pema Chödrön. This [1] material doesn't belong in this article. The current introduction in this article needs work, and should introduce her writing and why her writing is notable.

This [2] section on the various recommendations etc of her books is sourced entirely by primary sources, none of which appear noteworthy. If any are noteworthy, third-party sources should be provided and the material should be incorporated into the list itself, rather than as a separate section. --Ronz (talk) 14:53, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

reprint[edit]

The Compassion Book: Teachings For Awakening The Heart (2017, Shambhala Publications, ISBN 978-1-61180-420-1) - This book was previously published with the title Always Maintain a Joyful Mind. (already in the list) Dimhirwen (talk) 19:32, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Description of When Things Fall Apart[edit]

Hello, I am hoping to add in a description of some of Chodron's works. For example, "One of Chodron’s most famous books is When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times. In her work, Chodron discusses uncertainty and how to find the good in the discomfort." I used this source for the information. I am not sure if this could be added to Chodron's individual wikipedia page rather than her bibliography? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you! Lvogel1 (talk) 20:54, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Lvogel1, I'm not sure, myself. Perhaps add a few sentence description of the work in the Bibliography section of her biography? I'm sure folks will speak up if they think it should be elsewhere. Reagle (talk) 13:08, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
