I am so OK with this word. I'm just saying this because someone, someday, may come across this article and think, "WTF? 'mogrification?' This needs to be edited out!" So I'm preemptively telling this speculated person, "It's OK. Let it stand. It can be a real word by the standards of modern English. It's just "transmogrification" without the "trans."
