Etta Moten Barnett should be added to list of Paul Quinn College’s notable alumni. Her Wikipedia article explains her importance as a pioneer performer on stage and screen, as the wife of Chicago Defender editor Claude Barnett, and as a prominent Chicago socialite and philanthropist.
