Typical[edit]

Again, we find typical Wikipedia assertions that a person was not heterosexual. Yet, there is no proof and the person himself made no admission or statement regarding this topic. "On December 30, 1948, Dennis married Louise Stickney, with whom he had two children. Throughout his life, he struggled with his bisexuality, at one point becoming a well-known participant in Greenwich Village's gay scene." Sentences like these abound throughout Wikipedia. I'd have removed it if I hadn't found sourcing here.[1]. The entire article is certainly troublesome because it lacks inline cites and contains only one reference, "Uncle Mame." Stetsonharry (talk) 06:19, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ray Kroc is not the "founder" of McDonald's[edit]

Ray Kroc was a blender salesman who flew across the country to investigate why McDonald's restaurant was buying so many blenders. He liked the company, so he bought the right to franchise it. The commenter above, 76.100.129.69, is correct as other Wikipedia articles attest.

Ray Kroc = "Raymond Albert "Ray" Kroc (October 5, 1902 – January 14, 1984) was an American businessman. He joined McDonald's in 1954 and built it into the most successful fast food operation in the world."

List of ambulance drivers during World War I = "Ray Kroc - American entrepreneur of McDonald's Corporation fame, he trained to become an ambulance driver, though the war ended before he saw action."

I don't have a dog in this fight one way or the other, but I thought that usual Wiki protocol would have had the article refer to him by his real name?
