A fact from Pastures Historic District appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 July 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Does anyone have the name of the synagogue that is mentioned as still existing in the Pastures or its address, I didnt know it was still standing.Camelbinky (talk) 01:43, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's in the nom and I may have mentioned it in the article. Daniel Case (talk) 02:58, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Another question- even though its not in this district is the fact that Gen. Schuyler called his home "The Pastures" (because it overlooked the Pastures) relevant to this article? The home is today called the Schuyler Mansion and is in the neighboring Mansion District, but a Google Books search for "Pastures Albany" comes up with just as many books about the mansion the Pastures as it does for the Pastures District. Several sources are this, this, and this.
