Is it Parti acadien as the title sugggests, or Parti Acadien? Ground Zero | t 18:52, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's inconclusive. A Google search shows usage is split roughly 50-50. Kirjtc2 19:29, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Editing[edit]

This article needs work and some expansion as the Parti Acadien, although small, actually played an important role aiding in the substantial advances and economic integration of N.B. Acadians. I removed the text cited below as it is misleading. The Parti Acadien was motivated to speak out with a platform advocating a separate new province, but other than a tiny few, wanted nothing to do with the policies of Quebec separatists who advocate a new country of Quebec that in fact would split Canada into three parts, isolating New Brunswick from the rest of Canada.

"The party was motivated by, in part, nationalist sentiments similar to those of Quebec separatists during the Quiet Revolution, which led to the formation of the Parti Québécois."

I believe the "Low-Importance" category here is unwarranted.

It's the result of the merger of provincial wikiprojects into the Canadian WP banner, WPCANADA rules the importance ratings, leaving provincial matters in low or at most medium importance. I suggest you get WPNB to separate out its importance rating from the whip hand of WPCANADA's rating system. 76.66.200.95 (talk) 10:59, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
