Page move and speedy delete request[edit]

This page should not have been moved. Per WP:DABNAME, the correct title of this page should be Parsi, not Parsi (disambiguation). There is no "primary topic" article currently named "Parsi", therefore, that should be the name of the disambiguation page. Parsi (disambiguation) should be a redirect to Parsi. Nothing needs deletion. SlackerMom (talk) 20:46, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the page should not have been moved. A link to the Persian language article (the only other article to disambiguate) could have been taken care of with a {{for}} template. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 20:52, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There seems to be another misunderstanding here. There IS a "primary topic" article named "Parsi". This was moved (based on a misunderstanding) to 'Parsi people' to make space for a dab. There was no real reason for the move, and the only other link *was* hatnoted at Parsi.
The CSD was to make room for the move back from Parsi. -- Fullstop (talk) 21:41, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now I get it. Sorry for being obtuse. If there is no objection to Parsi people being moved to Parsi, then I do not object to the deletion. SlackerMom (talk) 21:57, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
n.p. My fault too. The edit summary should have reflected why I was asking for the csd. Dang automated tools. :)
But please restore the csd yourself (I can't csd once its been removed). -- Fullstop (talk) 22:01, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've been bold and CSDd it again. -- Fullstop (talk) 22:18, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Caution to casual readers: This talk page we've been talking on is actually the talk page for 'Parsi (disambiguation)'; it is not the talk page for the article that has been CSDd.
