Cleanup[edit]

This article is full of dirty Original Research. Namespace is not for random people's personal analysis!--Drat (Talk) 13:09, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Too much original research and do we really need the 'International' section? Lots42 (talk) 09:32, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Parker Lewis Link[edit]

There's a link to the character Parker Lewis that redirects to the article about the show. This is a very unfortunate loop that should be rectified. Andrew 14:25, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Parkerlewis.jpg[edit]

Image:Parkerlewis.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Episode list[edit]

Any objections to splitting the episodes into a separate article (typically named "List of title episodes") and converting it to use the episode list templates? Andyross (talk) 21:43, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Response Section" needed indeed![edit]

There should definitely be something in there about how the critics responded to this wonderful series. It's remarkable how original a series this was; the acting, the look-and-feel, and even the plotting--with many episodes taking the form of a morality play--made this one of the most memorable series ever.

I couldn't believe it when a pal of mine dismissed "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" as just a knockoff of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", for it was SO much more than that. Indeed, the surrealism that infused the first two seasons was nowhere present in that film, and the its writing was never so creative. Of course, the third season downplayed a lot of that, as the article makes clear and as was implied by the shortening--and emasculation, I'd argue--of the title for the third season.

But for two glorious seasons, "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" truly couldn't lose. What a consistently fantastic creative collaboration! But whatever happened to Corin Nemic? The third season should have been called "Parker Lewis Can't Win". It bore little resemblance to the first two seasons in content. Parker Lewis the red haired kid had elements of Archie (the comics character). Jughead is now a nerd, Moose has been replaced by Kube, antagonist Reggie has been replaced by his sister, etc.(5.8.190.86 (talk) 10:12, 3 September 2017 (UTC))[reply]
