Park Ji-hu → Park Ji-hoo – I know others will not agree with me. I noticed that ‘Park- Ji-hoo’ is the common name mentioned in the majority of listed sources. Like other articles, the common name differs from the official romanization. Like Jihyo, whose real name is 'Ji-soo', but her official romanization is 'Ji-su'. And Jisoo of Blackpink, the name of the article is Jisoo, and when mentioning her name, Kim Ji-soo, but different from the official romanization which is ‘Gim Ji-su’. There are many more articles related to korean biography, which follow the common name more, than the official romanization. In my opinion, romanization is the correct pronunciation of the word in roman. But not the spelling. Is it correct to rename this article? @Btspurplegalaxy: In her profile with BH Entertainment, two of her names are listed there, 'Park Ji-hoo' and 'Park Ji-hu'. So how did you know she preferred the spelling ‘Ji-hu’? And there was only one page I saw on the BH Entertainment website that related to her. And the other website, or majority of the websites I've seen, ‘Ji-hoo’ is the name that is always mentioned. So you mean, her preferred spelling, although I haven’t found any website that says she prefers spelling ‘Ji-hu’, should be the spelling of the article? And not the common name? You will see both the Korean spelling and the English one wrote in a large black font under the right corner of her artist profile. No, I saw both her name and the spelling of her name. If it's Ji-hoo, why are you against moving? Of all the links you provide, at least one, none of the links you provide have proven that this is really the spelling she wants. Compare with the sources listed in the article. It's not Ji-hoo though. I don't think the way her own agency lists Park Ji-hu as the English spelling should be disregarded. Since it's listed as that it evident it's the preferred spelling. Oppose. Per her Instagram username (03_hu) and her profile at BH Entertainment website. Per the credit on Netflix and the English poster of her film House of Hummingbird. Also, most reliable sources use Park Ji-hu (WP:COMMONNAME): KoBiz, HanCinema, The Korea Herald, Korea JoongAng Daily, The Korea Times, Yonhap News, The Chosun Ilbo.
