Definition[edit]

Creating Parity-check matrix[edit]

I think, the is a minus missing in the equation for H. In the current form it is only correct for binary codes. However, the explanation for binary codes is there, but not for code using other finite fields. If I am correct, it is

H={\begin{bmatrix}-P^{T}|I_{n-k}\end{bmatrix}}
