Update Roster[edit]

roster definitely needs updating -- considering roque santa cruz is by far the most visible paraguayan player and he's not on the list ... well, unless there's a reason, an update is needed. 76.126.182.121 (talk) 11:29, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Paraguay national football team[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Paraguay national football team's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Article size[edit]

The article is quite long, and violates the guidelines at WP:SIZERULE. Much of the length is due to an excessive amount of historical detail. My attempts to streamline the bloated History section align with the guidance at WP:FOOTY Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/National_teams#History And a number of national team articles follow this guidance and have a shorter history section with a link to a related History article, e.g., Spain national football team#History and the featured article Peru national football team#History.
