Tanysiptera nigriceps[edit]

fr:Tanysiptera says there is a fr:Tanysiptera nigriceps, which doesnt appear on this list, and the local page Tanysiptera nigriceps is a redirect to Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfisher, created by user:Jimfbleak. If they are the same, this should be explained somewhere. John Vandenberg (chat) 01:20, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Diet[edit]

Paradise-kingfisher diets consist of small insects such as grasshoppers, beetles, cicadas’ snails in addition to small lizards, spiders and worms.[1] Adult paradise kingfishers feed their young invertebrates up to the maximum size of 3 cm in length depending on the age of the chick.
