Unclear statement[edit]

The article lists three equations and then says:

If f(a,z) is a solution, then ...

To which equation is f assumed to be a solution? Haseldon 18:58, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More precision for V[edit]

Even though the main reference says that x must be real and positive for the asymptotic estimate of V to hold, V is constructed from Dp functions just as U is. The domain of validity should also extend to a complex sector: There is common intersection in the domains of these Dp's. (See, Whittaker and Watson's "A Course in Modern Analysis). The domain of V given above (from the reference) seems to be a misinterpretation of Miller's "Tables of Weber parabolic cylinder functions" [[User:Gammamcc|Gammamcc] —Preceding undated comment added 05:01, 26 March 2011 (UTC).
