I placed the POV tag when creating the article because it is pasted from a US government website. Because this comes from a US govt source it may not be neutral, but I don't have the expertise to judge. Relations have mostly been good, as far as I know. There was one incident when US vessels fishing illegally in PNG waters were detained by PNG, and the US reacted negatively, but I can't remember the details. Aridd (talk) 14:19, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
