Diogenes: 4th, not 5th century[edit]

I changed "5th century" to "4th century" on the dates for Diogenes Laertius, since he was 4-12 when the 5th century ended. Calling D. of S. a 5th century philosopher (placing him next to Anaxagoras or Socrates, a clearly pre-Hellenistic intellectual period) would be like calling Thomas Carlyle (b. 1795) a major 18th century intellectual figure. (Interestingly, for the purpose of dating other obscure but eminent philosophers, Diogenes "no relation" Laertius dated a philosopher's life so that they were 40 when they made their major achievement.)24.98.253.143 (talk) 14:21, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
