Down on Franklin Street[edit]

The former text said "the Tuxedo Dance Hall on North Franklin St. in the French Quarter". Despite what the AllMusic Guide says, Franklin was not in the Quarter, but rather a few blocks away across Rampart & Basin at the edge of Storyville. See for example map Image:New Orleans Quarter CBD 1920 map.jpg. Note this Franklin Street has since been renamed "Crozat Street"; not to be confused with the modern Franklin Avenue down river. -- Infrogmation (talk) 12:47, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
