if i can find a nice photo of her in the darling buds of may, could we use that instead of the horrible harry potter one?

Real birth date?[edit]

I've been aware of Pam's date of birth being unknown for a few years now. Only the year was previosly listed until January 1st suddenly turned up last year. I have no doubt that this is false information, used as a default date on certain sites and has been spread around the internet (I've seen this time and time again!). Her real birthday has yet to be publically revealed - although it may have been disclosed during Pam's 1991 appearance on This is Your Life if anyone can get hold of that. Any info is welcome! Ferris was born in 1949 according to Halliwell's Who's Who in the Movies. This is confirmed in various interviews I've found online, including an article from the Times in 2007 and another (which I can sadly no longer find) in which Ferris talks about moving to New Zealand with her family in 1962, at age 13. OK, according to this article, Pam WAS born in 1948. Although I've not seen any reliable evidence to suggest January 1st is her birthday, as all these sources seem to derive from each other. Only an official source on Pam will do. Crisso (talk) 18:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

movie roles[edit]

the list of movies is ok, but it would be nice if there was a list of what role she was in.Overseer19XX (talk) 18:25, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Place of Birth[edit]

Having been born in Germany to Welsh parents doesn't make her any more a "German-Welsh character actress" as having been born in a cowshed would make a horse a cow.

Welsh / German[edit]

Can't find any reference that she was born in Germany in the given source. Also, she is referred to as Welsh, but surely German-born Welsh would be better, although calling her Welsh because she was brought up in Wales but born in Germany - who knows. Someone should check it and refer to Wikipedia policy because I don't know what is best here. 86.129.199.6 (talk) 10:05, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Missing a movie role she played[edit]

I noticed she isn’t credited for her role as Queen in the 2018(?) film “Holmes and Watson.” Somebody should add that info too. 166.181.81.61 (talk) 20:11, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, she played Queen Victoria in Holmes & Watson (2018). But that is included in the table in Filmography. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:21, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
