Palmtex and PVS;

On archive.org when searching for Palmtex, a patent application will show up, but when opened it's 102 different PDF files, so I searched all of them and found that Nº30 09653286-2003-05-15-00001-SRNT is the only one to mention Palmtex.

Home Computer Software;

Here is an ad from January 1984, after they pattented their logo on December.

Here are the games they published from December 1983 to September 1984;

Kids Say The Darnest Things About Computers [1][2] [3][4 (latest mention of the company)]
Pro Golf [1][2].
Plaqueman [1]

They also went to the winter 1984 CES, the same as Palmtex, wonder if they met there at all.

So both companies showed up to the same event, for some reason got together, and both seem to have died in 1984. Interesting...

I found a comment on NeoGaf stating that the PVS was never released, and instead Home Computer Software took existing stock, rebranded it, and sold what they had.

Looking at the information available, I'd say Palmtex had financial trouble with the console, lost the right to it's name, and reached out to Home Computer Software for distribution of remaining stock???????

If anyone has any more information, or can search local newspapers from the companies locations between 1980 and 1985 (Look for January 1984, we might find the exact release DAY for this console!) for ads, or magazines, anything that might be able to help! I have no Idea how many were made, the serial number is located under the battery compartment, and I could only find one code; 3L005366, I needed another number at least to get the gist of the writen format. This might count as Wikipedia:OR and you might not want any of it, but I found a user on NeoGaf that has one PVS, and so I asked him on Twitter what the serial number on his was; 4A037157. So the serial number might mean something else, otherwise there were at least 37157 consoles made, probably most are broken trash by now.Talkkaris (talk) 22:31, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
