I remember that there is a philosophical use of this form in "The Phedre" by Plato. It is not only poetry I think.
More examples??[edit]
The article talks of several other poets who used palinodes. It would be great if someone can quote these examples, all these should be in public domain as most of these poets pre-date us by a long distance. --Gurubrahma 07:04, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
In Plato’s' Phaedrus Socrates gives his Palinode to Love. I would like to expound upon that. --iam_jeremy 12:10, August 31st 2006
