Terrorism[edit]

I think the Red Crescent Society has been known to use "medical" immunity to transport terrorists and weapons, and has lied about events in order to slander Israel.

WHO would definitely be acceptable. BUT all Palestinian ambulances do not belong to PRCS. There are private ambulances as well, or ambulances belonging to the Ministry of Health or to hospitals. As a Wikipedian I abhor any soapboxing (WP:SOAP). This information is already included in the article. Be careful not to add more weight that is due (WP:UNDUE). The WHO document clearly states on it that "At the request of the Government of Israel, the Director-General has the honour to transmit to

the Fifty-sixth World Health Assembly the attached report by the Ministry of Health of Israel." In other words, these are not the words of the WHO and there seems no reason to include them. The allegations come solely from the government of Israel (or various spokespersons or supporters), they've been investigated by a recognised independent body and no evidence of the problem has been found. And even if evidence had been found, Israel's response is in breach of its international obligations (First Geneva Convention) not to interfere with these operations, so their counter-claims cannot be rated very highly. 86.159.244.146 (talk) 18:34, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted a line stating the movement is a recognised terrorist organisation linked to Al-Qaeda. I suspect it was added by vandal. Logically, a movement recognised by the International Red Cross couldn't be also a recognised terrorist organisation.

An equivalent example would be a report from the UN security Council proceedings where the speaker is Sudan, but we say only the UNSC said this ... Its misleading and wrong. Please self-revert. I have created a redirect Emergency medical services in Palestine‎ to a section in this article. I would probably prefer a standalone article instead of a redirect but didn't as

There is no information in Wikipedia about other (non Palestine Red Crescent Society) services
This article is about a society that provides hospitals and ambulance services among other things, but the article is mainly about ambulance services.

It would be helpful if this article had more information about hospitals and other non-ambulance activities to reasonably enable a split off of this topic Alex Sims (talk) 00:57, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Typo[edit]

In the line "Israeli authorities have required Palestinian ambulances to undergo a through search when passing through checkpoints", the word 'through' should be 'thorough'.
