Adding names that are not notable[edit]

Dear all, I would please like to remind you that Wikipedia is NOT a self-promotion site and/or self-advertisement site. Kindly dont add your own name/s, or names of people known to you or those you are promoting. I have noticed that some keeps on adding the name of some 'Lt Col Muhammad Khalid Khan' to the lists of English poets/poetry, and to the best of my knowledge I am not aware of any such major/notable Pakistani poet writing in English by this name. Seems these changes are made by User:Khalidk1558-- dear Khalidk1558, I would please request you to consult Wikpedia 'Notability' standards/guidelines and refrain from adding a name or names that dont meet these criteria, thank you. If you are Lt Col Muhammad Khalid Khan (i.e the poet) yourself, you could also please consult how you could perhaps first create your own article/page and then, if notability is indeed verifiable, you could add your name to the list of poets. Youre welcome to discuss this here on this Talk Page. Thank you. Khani100 (talk) 05:21, 5 December 2011 (UTC)Khani100[reply]

Dear User:Khalidk1558, salams. I see that you have now added the name of 'Lt Col Muhammad Khalid Khan' to the list of Hindko poets instead of English poets?! Please, if the said poet is really notable (see Wikipedia 'Help' for Notability standards), kindly add an article/page about him at Wikipedia and then add the name here. I am going to remove it from this page for now, if its ok. Best regrs Khani100 (talk) 03:53, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Khani100[reply]
