Promotional[edit]

Just so I understand completely. What allows the article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GP_Bullhound to be valid, but not http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pagemill_Partners?

Because the article about Bullhound describes the company while the article about Pagemill promotes the company and her services. Night of the Big Wind talk 22:01, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry that I have to shoot down your first article, but with quite a few things you followed their website too close (example: Duplication Detector). The text from a company website is seldom useful for wikipedia due to its promotional character. (A trap I have fallen into too in my early days). You should keep more distance and describe the company in a cold, fact-based way. The best thing to do is to asked an administrator to move it back to your own space, so you can work on it. Would you be willing to help me make Pagemill more descriptive? I was using the GP Bullhound article as a template, but obviously I missed the mark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willowglenkr (talkcontribs) 22:11, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Understand, I greatly appreciate your help. I'll take another stab at it. Willowglenkr (talk) 22:25, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
