Sourcing for "Technology"

Lots of claims are being made in the "Technology" section, but very little sourcing is provided. "Citation needed" templates could be added to practically every statement in section. A "citation needed" template was added indeed more than 4 years ago and still no source provided. Without proper sourcing, majority of section is nothing more that original research and runs. I've marked it with a {{refimprove section}} template per WP:UNSOURCED in the hope that it might attract the attention of other editors familiar with subject matter who might be able to find relevant reliable sources, but the information runs the risk of being deleted if it cannot be verified. - Marchjuly (talk) 07:38, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

The problem is that there's a whole swathe of companies operating in this field - Applied Materials, Trimble Navigation, Atmel, Qorvo, Arteris, Qulsar etc - that exist, sell products, have thousands of employees, but are more or less completely obscure to the world at large; there's almost nothing about them on the internet, and even within the technology industry they're essentially logos that appear in procurement catalogues. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 18:39, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
