I was thinking translating from the LPSR Small Encyclopedia as starter contents, then expanding/correcting appropriately? --Pēters 04:41, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lūdzu... bearing in mind, though, that most of the LME article consists of references to his many, many, many publications (which they call eternally meaningful but are mostly pulp now), his participation in various Soviet organizational bodies (most of which don't have entries here) and quotes about his intimacy with Lenin. Latviešu rakstniecība biografijās treats his defense of Rainis (Stučka married Rainis' sister Dora), and I could include a line or two on Dienas Lapa and maybe a quote or two from Berman's Justice in the USSR. This article should probably note things once named after him, too, e.g. the University, the town... As an illustration, I was hoping to find a picture of the statue that stood at Riga Castle -- I used to have a couple of Soviet era picture books of Rīga that included shots of it, but can't find them. Maybe you have one? --Pēteris Cedriņš 07:16, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

I added an infobox containing some of the details concerning Stučka's political career. A non-copyright photo would be nice, though. -- Zalktis 08:36, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
