different races[edit]

I significantly doubt that the Oxnard strike was the first time people of different races were in the same union in the U.S., much less went on strike together. I suspect the Knights of Labor were integrated long before then, as were some of the maritime unions. This needs citation. - Tim1965 20:08, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
