WikiProject banners[edit]

Although the Owens River Gorge is obviously not located in Los Angeles or even in Southern California, it is inextricably tied to Los Angeles and Southern California as the City of Los Angeles, which owns the water rights to the Owens River and virtually all the streams that feed it, controls the flow of water in the gorge and I believe they may actually own that land. In any case, with the Owens River water being diverted into the Los Angeles Aqueduct, I think the Southern California and Los Angeles WikiProject banners are no-brainers. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 11:57, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
