Analysis needs to be broadened[edit]

It seems to stem only to Othello's race and has one one source stating one thing and none stating the others, though it has a bias to the former. Someone with more knowledge might want to fix this. Contemporary sources and infact the play itself represents race an an issue (not the black-white subject, but the Moor-Venice subject). Iago at one point was unsatisfied with Roderigo’s taunts to Brabantioand so he says that Othello is “an old black ram... tupping your white ewe." Possibly more significant to provide this example instead of keeping the arguement one-sided. 74.5.105.31 (talk) 13:46, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Based on Leo Africanus?[edit]

Grammatical Error[edit]

From my personal studies this does not seem right[edit]

I have checked out the sources cited. The Psychology of education, by Welton, J. (James), 1854-1942 on the pages listed and the book actually states the opposite to what the article says. See the thing about Shakespeare.. He was ahead of his time!Special:Contributions/dunno what goes here?! (talk) 1:20, 06 June 2015(UTC)
