Comment Yes it appeared in the source you provided. But 1.79 and 1.80 really matter? 1.79 can be round up to 1.8 Matthew_hktc 17:10, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Per the infobox documentation, the year ranges are for years contracted to each club. The article states that he was to leave Chelsea for SIPG in the January 2017 transfer window, sourced to this BBC report, which in turn cites Chelsea F.C.'s announcement that he "will join the Chinese Super League team at the beginning of the January transfer window". He was contracted to Chelsea up to the point at which he joined SIPG in January 2017, so the year of his leaving Chelsea must also be 2017. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:02, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure about 2017 transfer window, but the China window of 2019 opened on 1 January 2019. http://www.webcitation.org/75IFwkEdn 2017 window may open on 1 January 2017, thus Oscar's transfer should effective after that day. Matthew hk (talk) 10:18, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Archive copy of the FIFA International TMS calendar last updated on 03.01.2017 does confirm the 2017 China window opened 1 January. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 15:41, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
